M310 high-quality corrosion-resistant mirror mold steel, refined by electric furnace refining (ESR) method, has clean and uniform steel, good structure, high density, polishing performance, anti-corrosion function, and can reach 57HRC after quenching. For all general chemicals, it has corrosion resistance and is suitable for manufacturing transparent plastic molds V. C. Plastic molds, optical molds, especially suitable for high demand cassette and tape molds.

Heat treatment process
Entering the furnace
Forging: Start forging at 1050 ℃ and slowly cool down after returning to 850 ℃.
Annealing: After insulation at 800-850 ℃ and furnace cooling at 600 ℃ and air cooling, the hardness can reach 225HB.
Stress relief: Heat through the furnace with a protective gas at 650 ℃ and hold for 1-2 hours.
Quenching: After insulation at 1000-1050 ℃, quench with oil or air cooling, and immediately temper after cooling to 50-70 ℃. (Hardness can reach 55-57HRC)
Tempering: Immediately enter the furnace for tempering at 200-250 ℃ after quenching, reducing tempering time by 2-2.5 hours. [3]
