60SIMN5 has higher strength and hardness than other high carbon structural steels, but slightly lower elasticity. Its revenue generating performance is similar to that of 65, 70, 75, and 80 steels, and its hardenability is not high. It is a coil spring and spring washer with a diameter of 7-20mm Spring ring. 60SIMN5 is suitable for manufacturing vibration springs with small cross-sectional dimensions and low load-bearing strength, such as spring clips, precision machine tool screws, cutters, collars on spiral roller bearings, flat springs and circular spiral springs on railway vehicles, automobiles, tractors, and general machinery, as well as spring steel wires and strips for other purposes.

Heat treatment specifications and metallographic structure:
Heat treatment specification: Quenching at 820 ℃± 20 ℃, oil cooling; Tempering at 480 ℃± 50 ℃ (± 30 ℃ if necessary).
Delivery status: Hot rolled steel is delivered in a heat-treated or non heat-treated state, while cold drawn steel is delivered in a heat-treated state.
