Characteristics and Scope of Application:
The alloy element content of this steel is low, the hardenability is higher than 60Si2Mn, the toughness and plasticity are also high, the decarburization tendency is small, the tempering stability is good, the hot working performance is good, and the cost is low. Replace 60Si2MnA to produce leaf springs for heavy-duty, medium, and small cars, as well as other medium-sized section leaf springs and coil springs.

Silicon Si: 0.70-1.00
Manganese Mn: 1.00-1.30
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.035
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.035
Chromium Cr: ≤ 0.35
Nickel Ni: ≤ 0.35
Copper Cu: ≤ 0.25
Vanadium V: 0.08-0.16
Boron B: 0.0005~0.0035
Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength σ b (MPa): ≥ 1372 (140)
Yield strength σ s (MPa): ≥ 1225 (125)
Elongation rate δ 10 (%): ≥ 5
Shrinkage rate of cross-section (%): ≥ 30
Hardness: Hot rolled, ≤ 321HB; Cold drawing+heat treatment, ≤ 321HB
Heat treatment specifications and metallographic structure:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching at 860 ℃± 20 ℃, oil cooling; Tempering at 460 ℃± 50 ℃ (± 30 ℃ if necessary).
Metallographic structure: tempered martensite.
Delivery status: Hot rolled steel is delivered in a heat-treated or non heat-treated state, while cold drawn steel is delivered in a heat-treated state
