Characteristics and Scope of Application:
It is an extremely soft carbon steel with low strength and hardness, but extremely high toughness and plasticity. It has good cold working and welding properties such as deep drawing, drawing, bending, and upsetting. But there is a sensitivity to aging, and the hardenability and hardenability are extremely low. Most of them are rolled into high-precision thin plates or cold-rolled steel strips for the production of easily processed and low strength deep drawn or deep drawn cover parts and welded components.

Silicon Si: 0.17-0.37
Manganese Mn: 0.35~0.65
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.035
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.035

Heat treatment specifications and metallographic structure:
Heat treatment specification: Normalize at 930 ℃ for 45 minutes and air cool.
Metallographic structure: ferrite+minimal amount of pearlite.
Delivery status: Delivered in a non heat treated or heat treated (annealed, normalized, or high-temperature tempered) state. If delivery is required in a heat-treated state, it should be specified in the contract. If not specified, delivery shall be made without heat treatment.
