Detailed description
17-4PH is martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel.17-4PH properties are characterized by easy to adjust the strength level, which can be adjusted by changing the heat treatment process. Martensitic phase transformation and aging treatment to form precipitation hardening phase are the main strengthening methods,17-4PH attenuation performance, corrosion fatigue and water drop resistance is strong.

17-4PH alloy 17-4PH is precipitated, hardened, martensitic stainless steel.
17-4PH alloy is a precipitated, hardened, martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium/columbium.
This grade features high strength, hardness (up to 300º C/572º F) and resistance to corrosion.
After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect, and the compressive strength of up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi) can be achieved.
This grade cannot be used above 300º C (572º F) or at very low temperatures, it has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere and dilute acids or salts, its corrosion resistance is the same as 304 and 430.
