SK7 is a high carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.6, which is used after quenching and hardening. SK7 has excellent wear resistance and is a relatively inexpensive tool steel. Suitable for parts with sliding parts that require high hardness and for making cold work mold parts. SK7 material is commonly used on parts that require elasticity. Its stamping characteristics are similar to SPCC, with slightly stronger hardness and rebound. It is usually subjected to heat treatment after stamping to achieve the required hardness and elasticity.

Processing technology specifications
Hot processing specifications: starting temperature 1000-1050 ℃, ending temperature 850 ℃.
Quenching and tempering specifications: quenching temperature of 730-760 ℃, water cooling, water oil dual liquid cooling or alkali bath cooling, quenching hardness of 56HRC. Tempering temperature is 160-180 ℃.
