16MnCr5 is a steel grade imported from Germany, equivalent to 16CrMnH steel in China (refer to GB/T 5216-2004), with good hardenability and machinability. For larger section parts, high surface hardness and wear resistance can be obtained after heat treatment, and low temperature impact toughness is also high. 16MnCr5 gear steel is used after carburizing and quenching, mainly for manufacturing components such as gears, worm gears, and sealing shaft sleeves.

Heat treatment specifications: 900 ℃ oil quenching+870 ℃ oil quenching, 200 ℃ tempering.
Metallographic structure: tempered martensite.
Usage: Manufacturing gears, worm gears, plastic molds, turbine oil seals, and gasoline sleeves.
