1 Characteristics and Scope of Application
Steel for large forgings without nickel and with low chromium content, with good hardenability, stable strength performance on large sections, good forging, welding, and cutting process performance, and good high-temperature performance. Used for manufacturing large section high-strength forgings with working temperatures below 450 ℃, such as impellers with hub thickness greater than 300mm, main shaft rotors with diameter greater than 500mm, and welded structures; Can be used for castings.

Silicon Si: 0.20-0.40
Manganese Mn: 1.20-1.50
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030
Chromium Cr: 1.50-1.80
Molybdenum Mo: 0.45-0.55
Boron B: 0.001~0.0035
3 Mechanical properties
Tensile strength σ b (MPa): 883 when the cross-sectional size is 100-300; When the cross-sectional size is 300-500, 834; When the cross-sectional size is 500-800, 785
Yield strength σ s (MPa): 735 for cross-sectional dimensions of 100-300; When the cross-sectional size is greater than 300-500, 686; When the cross-sectional size is greater than 500-800, 588
Hardness: 269-302HB when the cross-sectional size is 100-300; When the cross-sectional size is greater than 300-500, 255-268 HB; When the cross-sectional size is 500-800, 241-286HB
4 Heat treatment specifications and metallographic structure
Heat treatment specifications: 880 ℃ oil quenching, 500-570 ℃ tempering.
