一、brief introduction
High toughness hard alloy is a long-life tool and mold material produced by powder metallurgy method with steel as the matrix, tungsten carbide, titanium carbide and other hardening phases, which is between hard alloy and alloy tool steel, mold steel and high-speed steel. High toughness hard alloys have high hardness, strength, toughness, and resistance to thermal cracking, and are widely used in the production of cold work molds, hot work molds, shear tools, and various wear-resistant parts. Their service life is more than ten to tens of times longer than alloy tool steel, mold steel, and high-speed steel.
The alloy can undergo various forms of machining, forging, heat treatment, and welding in the annealed state (HRC: 35-40), and the quenching deformation is small, only 0.2%.
DGW52 high toughness hard alloy has high toughness performance and is suitable for use under large impact loads or alternating cold and hot impact loads. It can replace M2 high-speed steel and SKH55 and SKH59 high-speed steel imported from Japan for high-speed cold heading machine punching rods (needles) and precision punching heads. Long product lifespan and high cost-effectiveness.

三、Other Recommendations
1,Suggested working temperature range
DGW40 and DGW52 alloys, not exceeding 300 ℃
DGW35 alloy, not exceeding 400 ℃
2,DGW40 and DGW52 alloys can be used in a rapid cooling and heating state from 0 to 1000 ℃
3, Compared with steel, grinding high toughness hard alloys is more difficult. The characteristic of small deformation (less than 0.2%) after heat treatment of high toughness hard alloys can be utilized to grind before quenching as much as possible, leaving less grinding space, and precision grinding or grinding after quenching. If the dimensional accuracy requirement allows, it can also be ground to the size before quenching and polished after quenching. Grinding is suitable for using coarse-grained large pore grinding wheels (such as 30-60 # medium soft silicon carbide grinding wheels). It is better to use diamond or CBN grinding wheels, but coarser grained ones (such as 80-100 #) are also required。
4,It is advisable to choose a taper angle of 1-2 ° on one side for the cold fitting sleeve。
