Characteristics and Scope of Application:
1Cr18Mn8Ni5N stainless steel, a nickel saving steel grade, has high strength but poor elongation. Used as a decorative material, replacing the grade 1Cr18Ni9.

Carbon C: ≤ 0.15
Silicon Si: ≤ 1.00
Manganese Mn: 7.50-10.00
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.060
Chromium Cr: 17.00~19.00
Nickel Ni: 4.00-6.00
Nitrogen N: ≤ 0.25
● Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength ≥ 520 (MPa)
Conditional yield strength ≥ 275 (MPa)
Elongation rate ≥ 40 (%)
Shrinkage rate of cross-section (%): ≥ 45
Hardness: ≤ 207HB; ≤ 95HRB;≤ 218HV
Heat treatment specifications and metallographic structure:
Heat treatment specification: rapid cooling at 1010-1120 ℃ for solid solution.
Metallographic structure: The structural characteristics are austenitic.
Delivery status: Generally delivered in a heat-treated state, with the type of heat treatment specified in the contract; Unless otherwise specified, delivery shall be made in the non heat treated state.
