HastelloyC-276
Overview of Hastelloy C-276 Features and Application Fields:
This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidized and reduced states. Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Alloys are suitable for various chemical process industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and tungsten further enhances its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 is one of the few materials that can withstand the corrosion of humid chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions. This alloy has significant corrosion resistance to high concentration chloride solutions, such as ferric chloride and copper chloride.

Hastelloy C-276 Metallographic structure:
The alloy has a face centered cubic lattice structure。
Hastelloy C-276Process performance and requirements:
1. The lower the sulfur content in the hot processing fuel, the better. The sulfur content in natural gas should be less than 0.1%, and the sulfur content in heavy oil should be less than 0.5%.
2. The hot working temperature range of the alloy is 1200 ℃ to 950 ℃, and the cooling method is water cooling or rapid air cooling.
3. Suitable for welding using any traditional welding process, such as tungsten inert gas welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub arc welding, metal inert gas welding, and melting electrode inert gas welding.
