9cr18mov steel has good rust resistance and is currently a high-quality stainless steel used in the bulk cutting tool market. Its strength and sharpness are higher than ATS-34, with a chromium content of 16-18%. It is the second most commonly used stainless steel (second only to ATS-34) and has long been accepted by knife makers. It has been popular, especially after the development of the sub zero treatment process, which enhances the toughness of the steel. Metallographic structure: The structural characteristics are martensitic.
Delivery status: Generally delivered in a heat-treated state, with the type of heat treatment specified in the contract; Unless otherwise specified, delivery shall be made in the non heat treated state.
Hardness: annealed, ≤ 269HB; Quenching and tempering, ≥ 58HRC
